Terms and Conditions
We apologise that the following may appear somewhat lengthy, but these are in place to protect both you, the Customer, and we/us as the Supplier.
About us
We are Trentside Fixings Ltd (Company Number 03476904) and our trading address is Trentside Fixings, Unit 2, Finch Close, Nottingham, NG7 2NN.
Your Status
By placing an order through our site, you warrant that:
You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts; and
You are at least 18 years of age; and
That you accept our Terms and Conditions as set out herein.
Payment
Visa Credit, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Switch and MasterCard are accepted as methods of payment. All transactions are in pounds sterling.
Delivery
When you order goods from our website the cost of delivery will be calculated automatically. Our aim is to keep all products in stock at our warehouse or at our suppliers for fast delivery.
Although we do not guarantee it, we always aim to dispatch all orders placed before 3pm the same day (excluding weekends and bank holidays). In some instances, where stock is held at our suppliers, shipping may take an extra day. As soon as orders are dispatched you will receive an email stating that your goods have been passed to the courier for delivery.
Most deliveries are carried out by DPD or DX tracked service. As soon as the goods are dispatched, we will update you with the DPD consignment/ DX tracking number. This will enable you to track the whereabouts of your delivery using the DPD or DX website, www.dpd.co.uk or www.dxdelivery.com.
While we are responsible for the supply of the goods to your chosen place of delivery, we cannot be held responsible for any failure on the part of the courier to fulfil delivery to their promised level of service. While we will do everything in our power to ensure your satisfaction and with your permission will even contact the courier on your behalf, in some cases, you may wish to contact the courier direct. If you are at any time dissatisfied with the level of service from the courier, please refer to the chosen courier’s terms and conditions.

Stock availability
We endeavour to keep in stock, or available, all items that we advertise for sale, however there can be occasions where this is not the case, which could be as a result of production difficulties, unexpected demand or any other reason. If a product is unavailable for whatever reason, we will contact you to ask you whether you would like us to supply a suitable alternative product. We will not supply you with an alternative product unless we receive instruction from you that you wish us to do so. If you opt not to purchase an alternative product, we will refund the full value of the product and any applicable carriage charges.
Risk and Title
The Products will be at your risk from the time of delivery. Ownership of the Products will only pass to you when we receive full payment of all sums due in respect of the Products, including delivery charges.
Pricing
All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT. The only possible additional charge above the price quoted for the item is a carriage charge.
The VAT element of each purchase is clearly detailed on the invoice that will be provided to you.
Our site contains many Products and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the Products listed on our site may be incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures so that, where a Product's correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the Product to you. If a Product's correct price is higher than the price stated on our site, we will normally, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatching the Product, or reject your order and notify you of such rejection. We are under no obligation to provide the Product to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you a Dispatch Confirmation, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as a mis-pricing.
Online prices do not always match store prices.
Guarantees & Warranties
In many cases, the manufacturers will give guarantees and/or warranties on their products. Please visit the manufacturers websites for details.
For all Power Tools, Trentside Fixings follow all manufacturer's guidelines. If your tool develops a fault, please contact us by sending us an email on info@trentsidefixings.co.uk.
Cooling Off Period
You may, if you wish, cancel your order for any reason within 7 days starting on the day after you receive the goods. To do this you will need to notify us by writing (notification via email will not constitute notification of cancellation,) specifying the order number of the order to be cancelled. If you do this we may ask you to pay the cost of returning the goods to us but, apart from this, the whole of your money will be returned to you within 30 days of such cancellation.
Returns & Refunds: Items not required
At Trentside Fixings we aim to provide you with information about each product so that you can make an informed purchasing decision. However, to give you additional confidence, we will allow you to return any item if it is not what you require within 30 days of receipt as long as it has not been used and is returned in its original undamaged packaging.
All you need to do is to contact us on 0115 9851551 and we will issue you with a Returns Code, explain our simple Returns Procedures and discuss with you the easiest and most convenient way for you to return the item(s) to us. You should then return the item(s) to us by the agreed method together with a completed Goods Return Form. Unfortunately we cannot accept proof of posting as confirmation of delivery.
Upon receipt of the item(s) we will refund the full value of the item(s) subject to them being unused and in their original condition and packaging. Unless otherwise agreed, you will be responsible for the costs for returning the goods to us.
Faulty, Incorrectly Supplied and Damaged Items
If an item has been incorrectly supplied, received damaged or is faulty then all you need to do is follow the Returns Procedures detailed above. We will then arrange collection of the item(s) free of charge, and, if you have not opted for a refund, we will arrange for a replacement item to be sent to you.
Upon receipt of the item(s) we will refund the full value of the goods and any carriage costs within 30 days.
